Family Protection Advice
The audit comprise of the following steps:
We believe clients should be able to quantify risks before they look to protect their, mortgage, other debts, income and or lifestyle. We believe any advice in this area should be based on facts and not rough guestimates.
We produce a personalised risk analysis which shows the likelihood of your death, suffering a serious illness, or being unable to work for more than 2 months, prior to your selected retirement date.
This analysis is based on your age, sex and smoker status. This is then assessed against UK population statistics and UK insurers claims history. We provide you with a written or online report which shows the percentage chances of each of these events occurring. This analysis helps you prioritise what protection issues are important to you and or your family.
Again we look to establish facts. We look at you and or your family’s income and expenditure. We then compare that to the expenditure you are likely to have in the event of ill health or death. While the income may have reduced, so might your expenditure.
You may already have plans in place to repay debts, you may have life cover, ill health protection or savings already in place. We assess all of these and help you understand how long these funds can maintain your existing lifestyle.
Any existing plans will be assessed for their continued suitability. If they are suitable we will compare the costs and benefits against all other UK providers to ensure you have the best cover at the most effective price available. If we believe we can improve your cover we will recommend your existing plans are replaced by an alternative.
We then provide you with a fully costed plan based on your individual circumstances, which makes sure your debts and families lifestyle will be well taken care of in the event of death, serious ill health or short term illness.
